Student’s response: They ask themselves if what they have read makes sense. They read the title so they know what it is about. They leave a word out if they are unsure and then they come back to it.

We are learning to:
   Introduce ourselves in Te Reo Māori.
   Communicate personal information, such as our name, parents’ and grandparents’ names and home town in Te Reo Māori.

   Speak clearly and fluently.

Mathematics with Statistics Term 2


I am learning to
Create a tally chart on Room 21’s favourite colours. Use this and a class graph to make statements.
Success Criteria
·     Ask a question to gather information.
·     Create a tally chart correctly.
·     Make a statement on the data: For example the most popular colour or the least popular colour. 

Child Comment: The colours that were asked were blue, green, pink, orange and pink.
